In my art piece, I’m brainstorming an idea about a good song that follows the rhythm of a morning routine. I want one to be able to feel like they are in the head of someone going through their morning routine from the yawn of waking up to the grinding of the coffee beans. There isn’t crazy mixing or anything special, but I’d like to channel my inner Marcel Duchamp. It may seem random at first but the succession of sounds one after the other separately sound like random sounds but when I, as the artist, put my flair on it and mix it into a symphony of sound it’ll be like you're waking up right then and there whether it be nine in the morning or nine in the night.

I’d like it to take on an almost movie or cinematic type of experience. Often, we are introduced to a character, and through the quick silent but purposeful morning routine montage directors make them to convey an idea about the character. Are they messy, is everything organized and placed only where it is supposed to be. It's reflected in the rising energy when you brush your teeth, eat breakfast, and get dressed. I want the sound bites to mirror real-life sounds, like an alarm clock ringing or water running, blending into the symphony. By the end of the routine, the music should feel energetic and ready to face whatever comes next, like we do when we’re prepared to start our day.
